The Amphitheater is our largest outdoor meeting space with a seating capacity of 75 to 100 on wooden benches. A fire ring in the pit of the Amphitheater provides a central focal point for evening gatherings.
We use the Amphitheater during our MountainCamp program to welcome our campers. The outdoor environment and wooden benches give our campers an environment where they are encouraged to jump up, sit down, sing and sway to music and enjoy fun camper games.
Located away from the main buildings on The Mountain, the Amphitheater can also provide a quiet and peaceful venue for more contemplative events. Church retreats frequently use the Amphitheater to hold vestry or worship services.
