The Rec Hall, located directly beneath the Tree House, has three connected spaces: the Rec Hall, Light Room, and Outside Deck. These spaces make the Rec Hall an ideal venue for workshops, classes, informal gatherings, and arts & crafts activities.
The Rec Hall, with its ping pong and foosball tables, is frequently a gathering spot for youth seeking a place just to “hang out.” The Rec Hall also has a fireplace surrounded by couches and oversized chairs that invite small groups to meet in small, intimate circles for conversation and reflection.
The adjacent Light Room is flooded with natural sunlight and plenty of table space. The Light Room is generally used for arts & crafts activities, but can also be used as a quiet breakout space for larger groups meeting in the Rec Hall.
The Outside Deck is surrounded by Mountain Laurel giving it an enclosed, secluded feeling. The Outside Deck is another quiet breakout space for larger groups meeting in the Rec Hall.
Our Fire Ring meeting space is directly accessible from the Rec Hall down a short flight of stairs.
The Rec Hall, with its three connected meeting spaces, ready access to the Fire Ring and located just beneath the Tree House, has many potential uses.
Our Mountain staff would be happy to discuss Meeting Room Configuration to make sure your Mountain retreat is simply perfect.
